Melanie Robinson DVM, originally a Michigander, has been riding and involved with horses in one capacity or another since she was 9 years old.

After starting out riding saddleseat, then moving into jumping and finally into the all-around events, she has always known that horses would be her life’s work.

With stints as a veterinary technician and show groom before vet school, she graduated from Michigan State University with her DVM in 1999.

She is also passionate about educating her clients and has taught courses at Wayne State University, Schoolcraft College and was adjunct faculty for the Large Animal Clinical Sciences Department for Michigan State University.

After moving to Colorado in 2007, she worked for another local practice before striking back out on her own.

When she is not working, she can be found showing her horse, Feature Me Elegant (Ellie), enjoying the great outdoors by hiking and rock climbing and hanging out with her family.
